Sydney is a great place to be, as there are a lot of attractions that you can go to, like the Great Barrie Reef Marine Park and the Sydney Opera House. Though the land down under has a reputation for producing beautiful people, there is nothing wrong with choosing to change a little about your face or body. If you decide to have your surgery in Sydney, there are a lot of things you can do in preparation for it, even on your downtime.
If you need to undergo rhinoplasty in Sydney and are under 18, your surgeon will require you to have a psychological test first. You’ll also need to have a 3-month cooling-off period before you can get the procedure.
Here are suggestions for preparing for plastic surgery.

On the day before your surgery, if your doctor asks you to fast for a certain number of hours, follow it religiously. Carefully clean your face and hair on the day of the surgery. Also, if you have ingested alcohol or smoked cigarettes, let your doctor know as quickly as possible.
Avoid wearing any jewellery, make-up, or nail polish on the day of the surgery. For a facial procedure, your doctor would need to take note and be more careful as make-up might leave particulates that may affect the surgery. Your surgeon might not go through with it even, wasting time that you might have used instead for other tasks.
Keep your valuables secure, or have someone accompany you on the day of the procedure. Be early and account for traffic. You would have plenty of time to rest and check if you have missed anything.
Be prepared with your post-op.
Will you stay in the hospital after surgery? Will your doctor ask you to go home after as it was just a simple procedure? Is it a simple enough procedure that your doctor may allow you to go home afterwards?
Regardless of what may happen, you have to be prepared with your travel arrangements. You certainly cannot drive yourself if you have anesthesia in your system. And please do not even attempt to ride a taxi or an Uber alone. If you have friends or family who are up to the task, enlist their services early so they can set their schedules.
Check that any medications that your surgeon prescribed you are appropriately filled a day before. If in case you live alone, this is the best thing to prepare for before the procedure. Especially if you have scheduled your itinerary while doing your rhinoplasty in Sydney, you would not want it to be changed at the last minute.
Why the need to prepare? There are certain aspects of the surgery that could affect your mobility, such as lapses in memory or impairment, slow reaction time, or headaches that you need to be aware of and must prepare for on the day of the surgery.
Preparedness is critical, so as long as you are aware of what you need to watch out for, you would not need to worry about your surgery as much.
