Very few relationships will ever compare to the bond shared between girlfriends. There’s just that sense of having a sisterhood that cannot be replicated elsewhere. We find refuge in the loving and understanding arms of one another. And we find ourselves seeking each other’s company whether it’s meant to celebrate a victory or endure a heartache.
And to further strengthen a relationship, we often go on adventures that take us places where we wouldn’t normally go to with other people. While they say that it really isn’t where you go, but with whom you go with that matters, the truth is that both things matter. And if you have someone special with you, you’re more likely to make an active effort to make things interesting and fun for them.
Nobody wants to live most of their life gallivanting from one bar to another in a never-ending cycle of sobriety and a state of drunkenness. Break from the monotony if you have it, stay away from it if you can.
So, besides getting wasted at your favorite pub, how should you spend your girls’ night out?
Pseudo Bachelorette Party
Hit the bar like it’s your last night as a single lady. Rock the whole look by bringing with you a fake veil, phallic toys, and order a bottle of your favorite champagne. You’re bound to get the extra attention wherever you go and the best part about having a fake bachelorette party is that you get to take turns being the bride-to-be through the night. This one’s bound to get a lot of laughs.
All-Male Revue
While you’re at it, consider adding a bit of spice to your night by watching Earth’s version of Greek Gods perform on stage. You’re bound to be entertained by the Spartan-like physiques on stage and you’re definitely going to be impressed by how they’re actually skilled at their art. If you’re set on watching an all-male revue, then we’d recommend Hunks the Show.
Kitchen Chemistry
If cooking is a religion, then the kitchen is the temple. Bring your girlfriends along to your happy place to concoct some delectables. If there’s one thing that strengthens a bond more than doing something together, it’s making something together. The best part is getting to take a step back later on to marvel at your achievement (or laugh at your failed attempt). Either way, it’s going to be fun.
Nostalgic Sleepover Party
If you miss that Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants vibe, then a simple PJ party is just the ticket. You’ll feel the nostalgia come right back at you pretty quickly, except now you’ve got juicier tales to tell. Grab your favorite food, put on some chick flick classics, and just enjoy the night as well as the company.
Wine Tasting Party
Now, if you feel like you want to be a little extra, then a wine-tasting party should fit the bill just right. Break out some of your best wines and drink the night away in the comfort and security of your home.
